The Carnival season in Trinidad which starts right after Christmas and culminates on Feb 23 and 24 is packed with fun-filled activities for tourists to enjoy. Visitors can get a chance to play steel drums, walk on stilts, paint their bodies and join the Angostura Carnival Fun Race.

Trinidad's popularity as a destination for cruising yachts has increased enormously between the mid 1980s and 1993. The Trinidad and Tobago Yacht Club has added additional slips and other boating facilities have also expanded.
