Wage dumping irks German jobless
Article Abstract:
Migrant workers in Germany include workers who are employed in one country in the European Union, and then sent to work in Germany. This is a legal practice but causes concern among German workers since the wages of these migrants is lower. Labor unions argue that wages should be the same for the same work. Illegal labor is also used at rates lower than legal migrants' wages. These practices are especially common in the construction industry.
