Cold water & near drowning
Article Abstract:
An estimated 7,000 people drown annually in the U.S. in cold water. The muscles lose strength and coordination in ice cold water. A personal flotation device is the best survival kit for any fisherman. Drowned persons can survive up to one hour under water due to the metabolic icebox effect.
