Coming up big: world-record brown trout and little fishing pressure - it's all happening in Arkansas
Article Abstract:
Many fishers do not realize that Arkansas is an excellent location for catching record-size brown trout, partly because the high amount of rainfall enriches the water with minerals. A world-record brown trout, weighing 40 pounds, 4 ounces, was fished from the Little Red River in 1992.

Bears on the rampage!
Article Abstract:
The number of bear attacks has risen in recent years in both the US and Canada, especially during fall. Biologists attribute the intrusion of man into the territory of bears, as well their need to eat before hibernation begins. Ways to prevent being attacked by a bear are discussed.
