Several ways that are easy and inexpensive to make ones sail boat visible in rain, mist and low light to make rescuers able to rescue the boat in breaking waves are presented. One way is to paint the top few feet of the sails mast international orange that will make the boat much more visible from a distance without affecting its aesthetics.
