The effect of caffeine on endurance performance after nonselective beta-adrenergic blockade
Article Abstract:
Results demonstrate that physical activity performance improves with the intake of propranolol and caffeine than with propanolol alone. However, the improvement is not linked to increases in lipolytic activity or lowering of plasma potassium concentration.

Physical activity and prevention and treatment of weight gain associated with pregnancy: current evidence and research issues
Article Abstract:
Analysis of the literature data on exercise and fat deposition in pregnant women indicate a small increase in skinfold measures in those who exercised as compared to the control group. Recommendations for more research in this area are presented.
