Cruising with an asymmetrical spinnaker
Article Abstract:
An asymmetrical cruising spinnaker improves the downwind performance of a boat and makes downwind sailing safe and easy. Its use eliminates spinnaker-handling problems as an asymmetrical does not need a pole. Guidelines on how to gybe a cruising spinnaker, an easily controlled maneuver, are discussed.
