Article Abstract:
The Murphys did not show up on any of the monitoring video tapas of the 101st Boston Marathon. They were disqualified for the titles awarded to runners in their 50s and 60s. None of the other runners reported seeing them run the race either. Other marathon cheats are discussed.

Binder was diagnosed as having exercise-induced asthma in the spring of 1991. She began the use of an approved inhaler and was undefeated in the second half of the year. She set four American 40-44 age-group records during her winning streak.

Germany's Katrin Dorre surprised observers by winning the women's race in the 1993 London Marathon in 2:27:09, beating favorites Lisa Ondieki and Liz McColgan. Britain's Eamonn Martin won the men's race in 2:10:50 in his marathon debut.
