A sailor went on a cruise with his son and father in his boat, First Draft, around the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway, from Pickwick Lake, Tennessee to Mobile, Alabama and on to Gulf Breeze, Florida. In this eight-day cruise three generations of the family were together making it a memorable one, with the Tombigbee waterway presenting a scenic sight.

Most sailboats are so maneuverable that most crossing and passing situations with a tugboat or a barge seen relatively safe. But with heavy commercial vessels the rule should be to avoid any situation which might look unsafe to the operator of commercial vehicle.
