Effects of caffeine on physiological responses to exercise in young boys and girls
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to examine the influence of caffeine on physiological responses to exercise in young boys and girls and determine whether sex differences in these responses exist. Results showed that a moderate dose of caffeine (5 mg.kg(super -1) does not affect metabolism (VO(sub 2) or RER) in young children at low-moderate intensities of exercise.

Placebo effects of caffeine on cycling performance
Article Abstract:
The placebo effect is explored in laboratory cycling performance using quantitative and qualitative methods. Quantitative and qualitative data suggest that placebo effects are associated with the administration of caffeine and that these effects may directly or indirectly enhance performance in well-trained cyclists.

Effect of repeated caffeine ingestion on repeated exhaustive exercise endurance
Article Abstract:
Results demonstrate that morning time ingestion of caffeine markedly increases exercise time to exhaustion, which is maintained through the afternoon. Data indicate that redosing with caffeine is unnecessary to maintain the ergogenic effect of caffeine during subsequent exercise 6 hours later.
