Evaluation of sports nutrition knowledge of New Zealand premier club rugby coaches
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to investigate whether New Zealand premier club rugby coaches imparted nutrition advice to their players, thus identifying their level of nutrition knowledge. Qualified nutrition professionals have become very much an integral part of the sports science team at many levels, though, many sports teams and organizations often do not access sports science, including nutrition services, due to limited resources.
