Article Abstract:
Swimmers with asthma should take some precautions to prevent the disease from affecting their performance. These include knowing the symptoms, staying in the pool, staying active, taking medicines regularly and avoiding irritants such as cigarette smokes, pets and chlorine. Asthmatic swimmers may also try alternative treatments to asthma such as vitamin C supplements, massage, allergy medicines, coffee or green tea.
