Issues concerning the relationship between high school sport participation and sports participation in adulthood are discussed. A survey of a national sample of adult Canadians provides the data, and the hypothesis that high school sports participation is a fairly strong predictor of adult sports involvement is tested for different age subgroups among women and men.
