Article Abstract:
The 20-year old law is designed to prevent sex discrimination in schools receiving federal aid. Complaints of discrimination are investigated by the Dept of Education. Awareness of the law has helped increased sports participation by girls. Grants by the Women's Sports Foundation have also aided sports programs for girls.

Antioxidants help the body combat the harmful aspects of free radicals. Free radicals are chemicals manufactured when the body utilizes fuel for energy. Major sources of antioxidants are vitamin E, vitamin C and beta carotene.
