The pros and cons of eating food with fat substitutes are analyzed. Many fat substitutes are made from common nutrients such as carbohydrates and proteins. Eating fat substitutes may not necessarily help you lose weight. Preliminary research shows some people eat more food to compensate for the low fat intake.
