Yucca was launched in 1937 and built by Tom Dittmar to a design by Nicholas Potter and is considered as the best workmanship. Yucca won her PHRF division in the 2005 Ditch Run by 25 minutes and in the bay's first IRC weekend of 2005 Yucca won both the Saturday races.
