Gifts of Healing ... from Herbs of the Season
Article Abstract:
Traditional holiday plants can provide interesting medicinal benefits. Frankincense, for example, contains boswellic acids that might be used for anti-inflammation, or even the inhibition of leukemia cells, although more research is needed. Research has indicated that myrrh might be used for pain and for antiseptic action. These and other holiday plants are discussed.
