Snead enjoyed the most successful season of his golfing career in 1995. Snead's biggest tour victory came at the 1995 Senior Players Championship, when he defeated Jack Nicklaus in a sudden-death playoff. Snead has long had a reputation on the tour as its most brutally honest member.
