A 1992 trade brought goaltender Dominik Hasek from the Chicago Black Hawks to the Buffalo Sabres where he starred, winning both the Vezina and Hart Trophies. The fan adulation ended in 1997, as Hasek began to feel a loss of confidence, and his future with the Sabres is uncertain.
