Hazards pay
Article Abstract:
Donald Steel, one of Britain's top course designer and journalist expressed his discontent when he witnessed Sandy Lyle play the British Open course without using woods that would eventually hamper the game and make it suffer if such equipments continued to go unchecked. Hence when Steel was asked to redesign the course for the 2003 British Open at the Royal St. George's, he made dramatic changes by adding 246 yards and bringing some bunkers back into play.
