The Panama Connection Net is net in Columbia that airs daily to facilitate communications and mutual assistance among maritime mobile stations in their region. Geographically, the Panama Connection Net reaches cruisers on the Caribbean Sea side of the Central American isthmus from Mexico to Cartagena, Columbia, and on the Pacific Ocean side from El Salvador to the Galapagos.

China Camp owned by the California park system provides activities such as windsurfing, hillside trails for hiking and also anchorage for boats. The camp has constructed an authentic replica of an Asian workboat called the Grace Quan for one of the settlers of a Chinese shrimping village on the North California shoreline.
