The Big Mountain ski area lives up to its name with 3,000 acres of skiable terrain, nine lifts and a vertical drop of 2,500 feet. Skiers can find challenges and fun in both groomed and ungroomed areas. The bars and restaurants of Whitefish, MT, are the major apres-ski attraction.
