Intermittent running: muscle metabolism in the heat and effect of hypohydration
Article Abstract:
Heat stress affects the intermittent running performance of moderately hypohydrated athletes. Well hydrated runners had shorter sprint times. Data suggest an earlier exhaustion time in slightly dehydrated runners. Contrary to expectations however, researchers found that running in heat conditions had no effect on glycogenolysis or lactate accumulation in muscle.

Localized muscle fatigue decreases the acuity of the movement sense in the human shoulder
Article Abstract:
Shoulder muscle fatigue diminishes an accurate sense of movement in local muscles. Women apparently sensed movement less acutely than men. This erroneous perception was more pronounced at speeds higher than the reference velocity. Working out beyond muscle fatigue increases the risk of sports injury, especially among women.
