Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacons (EPIRB) do not have the same performance. Older generation EPIRB's which transmit on 121.5 MHz frequency are less likely to be received by rescue services than their newer counterparts which broadcast on the 406 MHz frequency.

The Pulse Drive is a straight shaft supported by a strut and cutlas-bearing-enclosed housing. The surface-piercing drive, which are trimmable, moves vertically. It incorporates a rudder that is hung off the outboard end of the housing.

Ouch! Cheap tools are no bargain
