Article Abstract:

The design of an ocean-cruiser for circumnavigation is narrated. An aluminum hull from the French yard, Alubat, was used and a wind generator was installed on the boat to produce electricity. A fully-battened main with free-hanging jacks were used to ensure fast sailing.
