Joshua hijacked
Article Abstract:
The unauthorised sailing of the French yacht "Joshua" by well-known sailor Jacques Peignon in a single-handed transatlantic race is discussed. The owners, La Rochelle Maritime Museum, France, will prosecute Peignon for boat theft.

Admiral's Cup canceled
Article Abstract:
The 2001 Admiral's Cup has been cancelled due to lack of support. Only the UK and France has assembled teams but the US, Netherlands and Australia did not put teams forward by the deadline.
