Sales of the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Ford Explorer were almost equal in the 1st qtr of 1993. A comparison of equipment, cargo room, payload, driving systems and towing capacity is presented. Both sport utility vehicles are good vehicles and their prices range from $12,000 to $29,000, depending on options.
