Little flags: they represent more than just soldiers

Some newspapers are using flags to denote military veterans in their obituary sections. A perusal of these obituaries reveals that many were avid outdoorsmen, and their recreational activities benefited their military service. Such military personnel should be appreciated.

Down the river for ducks
Article Abstract:
The best way to beat the duck hunting crowds is by float hunting. It also very effective during cold snaps that freeze swamps and ponds but there's more to it than just pointing a canoe downstream.
