Musculoskeletal responses to high- and low-intensity resistance training in early postmenopausal women
Article Abstract:
This article examines the effects of a six-month resistance training program on the muscle strength and bone mineral density of estrogen-deficient, postmenopausal women. Results indicate that the high-repetition and high-load training protocols resulted in improved muscle strength and size but did not affect bone mineral density.

Creatine supplementation during resistance training in college football athletes
Article Abstract:
Research findings suggest that creatine, when taken concurrently with resistance and anaerobic training, further enhances performance in college football athletes than without it. Results indicate that creatine indirectly influences muscle cell hydration, which stimulates cellular protein synthesis.
