Nebraska's Niobrara River
Article Abstract:
A 26-mile canoe trip from Nebraska's Fort Niobrara Wildlife Refuge to Rocky Ford is described. The Refuge is bordered by native prairie grasses and has abundant wildlife including bison, elk and snapping turtles. There is also a waterfall at one of the pull-offs. Directions and other details are given.

Tennessee's Wolf River
Article Abstract:
The Wolf River headwaters of West Tennessee offer visitors an opportunity to view beavers, river otters, woodpeckers, kingfishers and other wildlife. The 16-mile stretch from La Grange to Moscow, TN, was impassable until 1990, when a trail was created.
