Obesity, fitness, willingness to communicate and health care costs
Article Abstract:
This study analyzes cost of obesity and physical fitness programs as influenced by the intention and willingness of the affected patients to modify their behavior. The data indicate that patients who incur higher costs are more willing to change their behaviour profiles and more likely to go for health improvement opportunities.
