Olympics: good games?
Article Abstract:
Tennis playing has been part of the Olympics only twice, and the US showing in 1992 was not spectacular. Tennis players felt pressure in competing for medals and trying to win a patriotic victory for their countries. The US women's team felt the tension, but won three medals.

Steffi Graf won her 19th Grand Slam title at the 1996 French Open. Yevgeny Kafelnikov won his first Grand Slam title when he defeated Michael Stich for the men's singles championship. Kafelnikov, together with Daniel Vacek, also won the doubles title at the French Open.
