Lightwave, a Transpac 52 (Tp 52) class boats are exciting racing machines, with the combination of a lightweight cored carbon-fiber hull, a spartan interior, and large sail area that yields high speed has beaten the race record set by an 86-footer. TP 52 is peerless in its size range, excluding racers designed with movable ballast or appendages, such as the Open 50.
