Article Abstract:
Philippoussis was asked to test his prowess at the serve with three types of racquet: wood, standard length and the extra-long (29 in.). The test proved that technique in serving always comes before racquet technology. Philippoussis was able to reach speeds over 100 mph with each racquet.
