Pre- and post-season dietary intake, body composition, and performance indices of NCAA division I female soccer players
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted on the soccer women players of National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), to investigate the baseline dietary data, anthropometrics and performance indices during pre and post-season training. The study reveals that there was no difference in body weight or body fitness, but average energy intake during pre-season was greater than post-season.

Policies on screening female athletes for Iron deficiency in NCAA division I-A institutions

National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) conducted a study on the deficiency of Iron among female athletics. The study reveals the need for implementing some standard protocols for assessment and treatment of Iron deficiency and prescribes general dosage of Ferrous Sulfate in the treatment protocol.

Copper status of collegiate female athletes involved in different sports
Article Abstract:
The copper intake measurements of 70 female collegiate participating in sports like tennis, swimming and even gymnastics were collected. The diet records shows that the copper status of female collegiate is adequate in this cross sectional assessment.
