Psychosocial factors related to physical activity and weight loss in overweight women
Article Abstract:
A study examines whether psychosocial factors related to physical activity in overweight, previously sedentary women were affected by a six-month behavioral weight loss program, and examines these factors across levels of weight loss and self-reported physical activity in response to a weight loss intervention. Results show that targeting self-efficacy, behavioral strategies, and barriers in weight management programs might improve physical activity, which might result in improved weight loss in overweight adults.

Multivariate genetic analysis of lifetime exercise and environment factors
Article Abstract:
The study investigated whether the association between exercise and individual-specific factors that correlate with exercise may be explained by genetic or common environmental factors. The genetic component shared in common by exercise and factors associated with exercise suggested that there might be a complex pathway of genetic selection and predisposition for a physically active lifestyle.
