Kegel exercises can help children overcome urge incontinence, which is caused by involuntary contraction of the bladder. Kegel exercises cause the bladder to relax. Of 79 children who tried the exercises, 60% had no incidences of daytime wetting two months later.

A low-salt diet may be as effective as thiazide diuretics in lowering blood pressure among patients taking ACE inhibitors. The 11 people involved in a United Kingdom study reduced salt but added flavorings such as rosemary and basil.
