Capsize recovery and prevention
Article Abstract:
Sailors must understand what causes a boat to capsize to prevent such situations from occurring. Boats can capsize due to too much mainsheet trim and too much boomvang in windy conditions. When a boat capsizes, the primary rule is to stay with the boat, either climbing over the wind rail or swimming to the center.
