Two friends on backpacking expedition catch and eat a few trout to alleviate the boredom of their trail food. If there are enough fish in a body of water, eating a caught fish may be acceptable. Fish are tastiest when cooked right away. Techniques for preparing fish in the back country are presented.

A sailor recounted the 1995 Marion-Bermuda Race. A highlight of the event was an unusual fishing experience on the Gulf Stream where a big dorado was caught using the Mouselock Wobbler, a lure used for trout fishing.
