Reelfoot revisited
Article Abstract:
The Calhoun family of Tennessee has been hand-building wooden fishing boats for the shallow waters of Reelfoot Lake since the 1860s. The popularity of the boat has spread to other areas of the US as well. The boats are called stump jumpers because of their ability to slide over underwater hazards.
