Reflections on the Intracoastal Waterway
Article Abstract:
Experiences of sailing south on the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) are presented. The ICW route is clearly marked with permanent daymarks and lights, with the red marks usually being on the mainland side and left to starboard when going south. The water can be very shallow, especially near inlets and crossing streams.
