Summer sailing and fog seem to be linked in some parts of the US country, and everyone who races or cruises would run into a bank of the gray stuff at one or another. Modern electronics have taken some of the anxiety out coping with fog and radar is a greatest asset but it is not good to place all trust in electronics as smaller the vessel, the less likely it would produce a radar echo.
