Salmon: To eat or not to eat?
Article Abstract:
Two high profile studies suggested that farmed salmon, widely available across stores and restaurants, contained higher levels of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), than the salmon caught in the wild. Still if one wants to benefit from the health advantages of eating salmon, the Country of Origin Labeling Rule will help to choose both wild and farmed fish from areas of the world with least amount of PCBs (like North and South America).
