Sampras is second to one
Article Abstract:
The computer system that rated Pete Sampras as the best tennis player in the world is flawed and should be replaced. The IBM/ATP system only counts the best fourteen results during the last 52 weeks, which skews the tabulations. A new system should take victories in more important tournaments such as the Grand Slams into account.

Only the players can fix a flawed system
Article Abstract:
Many tennis players agree that the flawed ranking system behind the ATP Tour is to be blamed for naming Thomas Muster, who plays almost exclusively on clay, to the top of the rankings. The Association of Tennis Professionals should change the system to make sure that the rankings are fair to all.
