Searching for truth and beauty in the Sawtooths
Article Abstract:
For thirty days between January and February 1998 instructors from Idaho's Albertson College conducted a field course in the Sawtooth mountains. The curriculum included work in literature, biology, and backcountry skiing. The students and teachers have an opportunity to learn.

Romancing the Wallowas

A cross-country ski vacation in the Wallowa Mountains area of northeastern Oregon is described. The guided ski tour included telemark instruction and overnight accommodations in log cabins at Aneroid Lake.
