A man recounts his acquisition of a Yamaha Seca 650 in Sep. 1982 for $3,340.96. The man gives the motorcycle to his father after using it for only two years. The motorcycle was later purchased by a friend, who later resold it to the man for $650 in 1990. The motorcycle is still in use today.

A motorcycle trip in Southern California is described. The author used a Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe, which features a low-slung solo seat, double saddlebags and cop-bike windshield. The bike is targeted at re-entry riders because of its manageable power and spread-out riding position.
