Shocking news: a buyer's guide to choosing and installing a front suspension fork
Article Abstract:
Installing a new suspension fork on a bicycle can reduce road instability and increase speed, control and traction. Ten forks were evaluated for road handling on rough terrain as well as on indoor testing apparatus. The tests found forks with air/oil shocks performed the best.

Abicycle was built out of a Trek 5500 carbon-fiber frame and lightweight titanium and non-titanium replacements for stock parts. The bike weighs only 15.8 pounds, 3.65 pounds lighter than a bike made from stock Trek 5500 parts.
