Article Abstract:
The sturdy Southerly 135 designed by Rob Humphreys and built by Northshore yachts in England, is tested. The 45-foot cruiser is fitted with 56-hp diesel engine for speed, cast-iron ballast is used for stability and the interior makes an attractive, comfortable living space.

Southerly 110: A passagemaker that's also a fine gunkholer
Article Abstract:
Teat sail of Southerly 110 in the shallow waters of Florida's Biscayne Bay, to test the stability, is presented. Some of the features include a 2,310-pound keel, a 4455 pound steel grounding plate in the bottom of the hull and a power of 30-hp Yanmar.

One hull or two?
Article Abstract:
A side-by-side comparison of a 33-foot catamaran, Gemini 105Mc and a 37-foot monohull, Beneteau 373, is illustrated. The results have shown that both boats have comfortable accommodations, interesting features and perform well under sail and power.
