Some black women are sporting blond hair in a variety of styles in spite of resentment from purist among the race. Among those to be seen with yellow tresses are poet Nikki Giovanni, singer Mary J. Bilge, and actress Jada Pinkett. Hair may be political but sometimes style and personality win out.

Graduate school has become distressful for those wishing to become the new professors. There are fewer jobs now but universities have not cut PhD programs. Dissertations should be eliminated and doctor's degrees made similar to useful law degrees, and take only three years to complete.

A five-day program of drills that help soccer players to strengthen their weaker feet is presented. The drills include a kicking exercise using a ball held in a SoccerPal, alternately kicking the ball and heading it forward, tapping exercises and wedge repetitions.
