Superbike update

Only three of the six motorcycle brands are competitive in the AMA Superbike, namely Ducati, Honda and Kawasaki. While Harley is experimenting with innovations, rumors have it that Suzuki will field in two teams in 1998. Meanwhile, Yamaha does not seem to have any racing policy at all.

MV Agusta F4
Article Abstract:
Cagiva has launched a new generation of the MV Agusta F4 racing motorcycle. The Italian-made motorcycle features an upside-down fork with Suzuka-style quick-release axle dropouts, carbon-fiber fenders and 310-millimeter floating discs at the front. MV Agusta costs $28,000.

The outsider
Article Abstract:
Todd Henning and his Honda CB450 are considered as outsiders in the motorcycle world. The two-stroke bike, and other so-called 'junkyard dogs' are claimed to have forced the British Singles, MV Multis and other classics out of motorcycle racing.
